Recas Server

MultiAd Recas Server, the multi-user version of 4th Dimension based on a client/server architecture, fills the gap between desktop products and multi-user personal computer and mainframe data systems. It is ideal for users who have outgrown current PC systems based on file-sharing technology, but who cannot justify the cost of traditional client/server systems.

Recas Server delivers benefits from both ends of the spectrum, combining the user-focused characteristics of 4D with the data management capabilities of a client/server system. Recas Server version 7 does not force users to change the potential working style they have gained thanks to desktop computing, and it places no limit on the number of concurrent users on the system.

Recas Server comes complete with server and two client-side registrations. Each additional client over the original two user setup will incur an additional licensing fee.
